ADOPTIONS

Adoption is a relatively painless process here at Mewtopia Cat Rescue. We make every effort possible to correctly match pet with owner so as not to subject the animal to further rejection or abandonment. Prospective adopters are interviewed by an adoption counselor and are required to complete an ADOPTION APPLICATION. When the adoption has been approved, the adopter must also sign an ADOPTION AGREEMENT stating that the pet will be returned to Mewtopia if there are any problems. We prefer to place the cat or kitten in another home ourselves rather than have it placed in an unsuitable home or at another shelter. (Mewtopia reserves the right to deny any adoption.)

The adoption fee starts at $125 and covers the following:

• Spaying/Neutering
• Flea Treatment (Advantage or Program)
• Worming for Hook and Round worms
• Testing for FIV/FelV
• Vaccinations (first round)
• Earmite Treatment
